The Muskegon Black Business Expo is back! In 2021 we made history and we are ready to do it again, with your support. Last year we had over 60 Black Owned businesses as vendors and more than 1,000 attendees. This year we are going even bigger with 80 Black Owned Businesses as vendors and the anticipation of more than 1,500 attendees.

 

The 3rd Annual Black Business Expo, will be presented by Lashae Simmons II, Founder of Black Wall Street Muskegon. This one-day two-part Business Expo will take place on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at The VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center from 9:00am-6:30pm.

 

Part I: The Symposium-9:00am- 12:00pm.(Tickets must be purchased on Eventbrite.)

Part II: Vendor Showcase- 1:00pm- 6:30pm. (Public and free to ALL)

The Muskegon Black Business Expo is an event aimed at empowering the Black business community through entrepreneurship training, the sharing of community development ideas, and funding. The Muskegon Black Business Expo will provide an opportunity for startups, well established small businesses, business professionals, as well as non-profit organizations to gain direct access to business opportunities, resources, programs, and policies aimed at increasing economic activity and creating shared prosperity.

 

Our mission is to continue hosting events, such as the BBE that support the development of sustainable Black-owned businesses so that Muskegon County can become more economically inclusive. Additionally, the event will feature live entertainment, raffles, and Micro-Grants.

Our objective is to acquire needed goods and services as efficiently and as inexpensively as possible, while ensuring fair, equitable opportunity to all 82 qualified vendors. Commitment to excellence, Check List and Sponsorship Information is listed below.
